The Cleveland Cavaliers have finally done it. With true sports heroics, the team came back from a 3-1 deficit in the finals against the high powered and season long dominating Golden State Warriors to become 2016 NBA Champs.
This is the first title for the franchise in its history and the first championship for the city of Cleveland since Jim Brown and the Cleveland Browns.
Biggest story is the fact that the team was lead by Lebron James, the man that was drafted into the league by Cleveland out of high school but left the team a few years later for a better opportunity in Miami after several failed attempts. Three years later, he returned to team with the promise of bringing a title to Cleveland which he has now done. And in doing so the Cavs have also become the first team in NBA history to be down 3-1 in the finals to win.
